Probably something from fuckass Australia.

I laughed really hard at that comment. 

(But it’s actually a jerboa, which is native primarily to Africa.)

Actually I think that’s a Kangaroo Rat, which are found in North America. Jerboas have those tiny no-faces that are adorably terrifying.

No, it’s a Greater Egyptian Jerboa; its owner posts videos of it on Youtube.

But you can generally tell the difference by the ears and walk. Jerboa do the funny, stompy bipedal toe walking while Kangaroo Rats tend to hop more on the whole hind feet. And Kangaroo Rats have smaller ears.
